FA Cup 'special at Spurs' - Ryan

Ryan Mason knows the FA Cup is 'special' at Spurs - and he's determined to keep us firing on all fronts when we take on Leicester City at the Lane on Saturday.
The midfielder's fine displays this season have been rewarded by a new contract this week and he returned to action after a recent hamstring injury in Wednesday night's Capital One Cup semi-final, first leg win against Sheffield United.
Now we turn our attentions to the FA Cup and a fourth round tie against the Foxes and Enfield-born Ryan, a Spurs fan, knows all about our heritage in a competition we've won eight times.
"This is another big game for us," said Ryan. "It will be tough against Leicester but we've a home draw and we'll look to attack.
"The FA Cup is special here. Hopefully we’ll have a good run and give ourselves another chance to play at Wembley."
Wembley could be 90 minutes away next week when we travel to Bramall Lane for the second leg of our Capital One Cup semi-final against Sheffield United.
The Blades proved a tough nut to crack in Wednesday night's first leg - Andros Townsend's penalty proving the difference between the teams as we ran out 1-0 winners.
"It was difficult, they came with a game plan to sit off, to defend and get as many men behind the ball as they could and they did it well," reflected Ryan.
"We were disappointed we didn’t create more chances and have more of a lead but we’re happy to go there 1-0 up and we’re confident.
"It was important to keep a clean sheet and we won’t go there and look to defend, we’ll look to win the game and hopefully they’ll come at us more and that will suit us."
