The Argentine defender, 27, completed his transfer from Sevilla on Wednesday.

Federico made 194 appearances for Sevilla and was a key member of the team that won the Europa League last season, beating Benfica on penalties in the final.

“I know Spurs is an historic club in this country and in this league,” said Federico. “This is a great club and I’m very happy to be here.”

After putting pen to paper on a four-year deal, Federico stepped out for his first session as a Spurs player at the Training Centre.
