Students at the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham (LAET) have been giving access to a couple of unique experiences this week.
The Club, alongside Highgate School, is a sponsor of the new state-funded Sixth Form, located within Lilywhite House on our new stadium development.
Expert teaching from nine of the country’s top independent schools help make LAET a place where the brightest young people within the local area can benefit from an academically rigorous curriculum and receive the best possible chance of a place at leading Universities, regardless of economic background.
As part of their studies, students taking an A-Level in Engineering were invited onto the construction site of the Club’s new stadium and taken through the project in detail by Site Managers.
It was the first of a number of student visits onto the stadium site that will take place in coming weeks, covering a range of different academic subjects.

On Tuesday, two legendary former Tottenham Hotspur captains, Ledley King and Gary Mabbutt, spoke to students at a school assembly around leadership and overcoming challenges in their career.
The hour-long talk was aimed at inspiring students during a crucial time in their lives with fascinating insight given by the two Club Ambassadors with nearly 1,000 Spurs appearances between them.
Jan Balon, Head Teacher at LAET, said: “We are extremely privileged to have Tottenham Hotspur as one of our business sponsors and be able to give our students access to opportunities like these.
“The incredible new stadium rising out of the ground next door to us is providing a huge amount of excitement for our students, so to be able to go on site and speak to those who are involved in the project is truly inspiring.
“Furthermore, not too many students in the country get an audience with sporting heroes that have achieved so much in their lives and careers.
“For Ledley and Gary to come in and pass on their experiences and advice is something that I am sure will stick with our students throughout their time with us and beyond.”
