Ewood always tough - Harry

Harry Redknapp is not under-estimating the challenge ahead at Blackburn on Sunday – but insists it’s a game we have to look to win.

Harry Redknapp is not under-estimating the challenge ahead at Blackburn on Sunday – but insists it’s a game we have to look to win.

We travel to Ewood Park with Rovers struggling at the foot of the Premier League with one win in their opening eight matches.

But that win – a 4-3 thriller at home to Arsenal - underlines why Harry has prepared the squad for another testing 90 minutes in Lancashire.

We travel north on the back of five matches unbeaten in the Premier League including on our travels recent wins at Wolves and Wigan and a draw at Newcastle last time out.

“We have got to go up there and try to get another good result,” said Harry.

“I saw them last week and they had a real go at QPR. They could have won the game.

“You don't go to Blackburn and get too many easy games. They beat Arsenal there this year so we have to make sure we don't under-estimate the opposition and go there ready.

“If we are going to be a team that is going to be up there this season we have to go and win these sort of games, just like we did at Wigan and Wolves and we could have done at Newcastle with a couple of minutes to go last week.”
