Eriksen: 'We have no weak links'

Christian Eriksen has been impressed by the versatility our players have shown over the last few weeks and insists there are “no weak links” in the squad.
Mauricio Pochettino again shuffled his pack for Sunday’s 2-0 win over Manchester City at White Hart Lane, making three changes to the side that triumphed away to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League last week.
Back in came Kyle Walker, Danny Rose and Moussa Sissoko, with Heung-Min Son taking on more of a central attacking role in place of Vincent Janssen.
The rotation within the group certainly didn’t have an effect on our momentum as we made it five wins out of five in all competitions and Christian emphasised how the willingness of everyone in the squad to do a job whenever called upon by Mauricio has contributed to our fine form.
“Everyone wants to play, everyone wants to win,” said the 24-year-old, who is now with the Denmark national team and preparing for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Poland and Montenegro.
“We’ve got a very, very strong team and, even if we rotate a few players, the new ones will come in and fill the spots perfectly.
“Every player who comes in can play in different positions too. Sonny, for example, can play as a striker as well. He’s a different type to Harry Kane or Vincent Janssen so he filled in differently (against City) but it was the perfect mix on Sunday because City dropped a lot and there was a lot of space to run in between.
“At the moment there are no weak links and the result is that it only makes us stronger.”
