Eric and Jan take part in Junior Fan Forum

One Hotspur Junior members were given the opportunity of a lifetime at a members-only event at the Training Centre today (Tuesday, February 14), as a group of lucky young supporters got the chance to meet Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen for an exclusive Q&A session.

A handful of youngsters were selected to attend the event after a competition to provide the most creative and interesting questions for the players to answer. After an influx of amazing responses, 40 replies were picked to put forward to the players.

The day began with an opportunity for the competition winners and their families to watch first team training, before the squad posed for pictures and signed autographs.

Junior members then took part in a special quiz before Jan and Eric made their way into the press auditorium to field a range of tricky questions, from the best team-mate to be stuck on a desert island with, to the top practical joke they’d seen.

Speaking after the event, Eric said: “It’s a great opportunity for our young fans to come to the Training Centre and ask us whatever’s on their mind. It was a really enjoyable experience for us, even if some of the questions were difficult to answer and it’s great to be able to give something back to our Junior members.”
