England squad announced

Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Danny Rose and Kyle Walker have been named in the England squad for this month’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.

The quartet have all featured regularly for the Three Lions this year and will be hoping for further game time on Saturday when England host Malta, before travelling to face Slovenia on Tuesday, October 11.

Harry Kane misses out through injury.

Meanwhile, Josh Onomah and Kyle Walker-Peters are in the England Under-20s squad for a four-nation tournament involving the Netherlands, Germany and the USA while 17-year-old Marcus Edwards, who made his first team debut for us against Gillingham in the EFL Cup recently, will join up with England Under-19s for matches against Croatia and Bulgaria.

Young defenders Jaden Brown, Jon Dinzeyi and Japhet Tanganga, meanwhile, have been named in the England Under-18s squad for a double-header against Sweden.
