Borussia Dortmund manager Peter Bosz has hailed the talents of Davinson Sanchez as he prepares to take on his former Ajax charge in the UEFA Champions League tonight.
New signing Davinson played under Bosz in the Netherlands last season and was a key part of the Ajax team that reached the Europa League Final.
Now in charge of Bundesliga giants Dortmund, Bosz is anticipating an exciting game at Wembley with both teams aware of the potential importance of this fixture in the overall knockout round qualification picture.
"Davinson is a good player, even though he is still young," said Bosz. "Without the ball he is a monster – strong in the air and fast.
"The Champions League is the highest level you can play at in Europe – that’s got to be good fun!
"The first game is always important. We’re approaching the game like any other and we’re here to win.
"Spurs have a similar philosophy to us. I’m expecting a good game. I want us to be brave."
