THE LADS all reckon the first half against Manchester City was the best we've played this season. It was a great result. I'm sure that will give us plenty of confidence. We've got the players here and we just need the platform. Slowly but surely we're turning things around. We're not losing games as often and that breeds confidence. It takes a while for players to believe in themselves and hopefully we can now continue that form.

IT WAS great for Helder to score his first goal against City. We've always believed in him - everyone here knows he has the ability. Obviously it's difficult coming to a new country, new league, new team, completely new surroundings. He's had a run in the side now, score his first goal and I'm sure there will be more to come. He has all the attributes, give him the ball in the right areas and he has a great shot and that's what he's all about.
WE NEED to build on City and get another win against Wolves on Saturday. Take a look at the league table and it's very tight - lose and a couple of other teams win and we could be in the bottom four, back-to-back wins and we'd be right inside the top 10. We haven't really been consistent but we're going about it the right way at the moment by tightening up defensively which means you are not losing heavily and you are always in the game.
All the best,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Simon
