AGAIN, so much has happened since my last diary entry but to be honest, all I'm thinking about is getting fit again and back out there.
The injury is just at the top of my thigh. I can run at about half pace but I think if I was to push it, I could break down, so it's a case of taking it slowly and not risk any further damage.
I came back from Wales duty, thought I did alright against Finland, scored and was looking forward to bringing that form back to Tottenham but I got injured and that was disappointing and now the manager's been sacked as well. On a personal level I want to get back for whenever a new manager comes in and try to play well again for Spurs.

It's always difficult to talk about a manager leaving. There are mixed emotions but you have to move on.
When I think back, I was disappointed when George Graham left because I was just starting to get into the side then. Obviously Glenn Hoddle came in and he's just about played me all the time, so I'll always be thankful for that.
Hopefully when the next manager comes in he'll continue playing me and that will be the same with every player here. That will be good for the club because everyone will be trying to impress.
Obviously I missed out at Coventry on Wednesday but it was great to get a win to settle everyone down again. We'd had three losses on the spin and the last thing we needed was to go out of the Carling Cup. I watched it on TV and I thought we played well, looked dangerous and warranted the victory.
Now the big one is at Manchester City on Sunday because we need to get going in the Premiership.
City are a great attacking side and I think it will be another high-scoring game up there like last season when we won 3-2. I scored a rare header that night!
The bottom line is we need to start getting points on the board and if we continue playing away from home like we did at Coventry, although they are a First Division side, I think we'll pick up points more often than not.
All the best,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
Simon
