Different role, same commitment from Nabil

Nabil Bentaleb said he was happy to do a job for the team as a makeshift left-back in Sunday’s win at Everton.
With Danny Rose out through a dead leg and Ben Davies a long-term absentee because of a shoulder injury, it fell to central midfielder Nabil to marshal the left side at Goodison Park.
Much like he did in the second half at Stoke earlier this month, the Algeria international put in an impressive shift in that role.
And he was suitably satisfied with our afternoon’s work as we rounded off our Premier League campaign with a 1-0 victory, Harry Kane on target in the first half.
“The gaffer said I’d need to play left-back and for me it’s no problem to play anywhere,” said Nabil.
“I’ll always give my best and that’s what I did today. It’s a great result for us and we fought really hard for it.
“Everton are a tough team to play and they can beat any side, especially at Goodison Park, but we were focused, determined and deserved to get the three points.
“We played really well. Full credit to the team, we kept possession, created chances and kept a clean sheet as well. We have to keep going like this next season.”
