Dier on Dele

Eric Dier can only see Dele Alli getting better and better in a Spurs shirt.
The young midfielder has made quite an impact already with his performances off the bench including his first Spurs and Premier League goal at Leicester City.
Eric was with Dele on England Under-21 duty last week - they both started both games against the USA and Norway - and he feels with time and minutes under his belt, he can go higher and higher this season.
“Dele played well in both Under-21 games and he’s started ever so well here at Spurs,” said Eric, who knows a thing or two about making an impact having done so well on his debut season last term.
“He’s got a bit of everything. He can run all day, he puts in a tackle if he has to and he’s good on the ball.
“Hopefully he’ll keep his head down and keep working hard and I’m sure we’ll see big things from him.
“Every young player, any club, if you work hard, try your best and put everything into it you will only improve. There is only one way it will go and if he does that, I’m sure he will keep improving as well.”
