Dier braced for exciting derby clash at the Emirates

Eric Dier describes Saturday’s north London derby as a ‘huge game’.
We’re all set to lock horns with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday lunchtime (kick-off 12.30pm) in our first match back after the international break.
Naturally, the fixture needs no introduction and Eric, who stepped up to captain England for the first time in high-profile friendlies against Germany and Brazil over the last fortnight, is bracing himself for an open, attacking game as we bid to keep ourselves in contention at the top end of the table.
“It’s a huge game this weekend – we’re getting into a really busy period now with loads of big games, loads of really important games – although obviously every game is important – but the one against Arsenal is very special for the players, the fans and for the club,” he said.
“It’ll be the same for the neutral as well – I think it will be a really exciting game to watch so everyone is really looking forward to it, nobody as much as us as players.
“It goes without saying that we’ll be going into it to give our all like we always do and continue on the good run that we left behind before the international break.”
