Simon Davies is determined to put right our recent record at Highbury in the big North London derby on Monday.
Arsenal have held the upper hand at Highbury but have been pushed all the way - no more so than last season, when we missed chances, led and looked comfortable until a wicked deflection handed the Gunners a way back into the game.
Simon was controversially sent off for two bookable offences after just 27 minutes of the 2002-03 clash while a late penalty sealed Arsenal's win in 2001-02.
"Derbies are derbies and the truth is we haven't done as well as we should over there," said Simon, who is still gutted about his early exit a couple of seasons ago. "This is another chance to go and put that right.
"I missed the game last season but we were so close to beating them.
"Helder Postiga had a couple of chances, Darren Anderton scored and it took a deflected goal to get them back into it.
"We're in pretty good nick ourselves and we won't go there worrying about our form. We've got a strong side, very energetic all over the pitch and very young - and that might count in our favour as well."
Simon is looking to maintain our form in away matches against the top sides in the Premier League - we drew at Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and beat Everton.
Last weekend's draw at Anfield saw some of our best football on the road and Simon is confident we can repeat the performance at Highbury.
"The pleasing thing at Liverpool was we had them on the back foot at times and had them rattled," added the midfielder. "I'm sure we can do the same to Arsenal.
"We played really well at home in the first half against them before the second half got a little scrappy and the goals were flying in at both ends. We're definitely capable of doing it and if we can get something from the game, it's another step on the way to Europe."
