Michael Dawson says the lads are determined to bounce back at Villa after the loss at home to West Ham.
We were stunned last time out at the Lane as we struggled to break down a resolute Hammers defence before three goals in 13 minutes saw the visitors take maximum points.
Skipper 'Daws' admitted the defeat hit hard. "The first three days when I woke up my first thought was ‘how did we lose that game?’" he said.
"We were all gutted. It was never a 3-0 game. Defensively, it was massive disappointment. Now we have to put it right."
Michael - who spoke to us about signing his new deal last week, look out for that interview on Spurs TV next week - added that the squad's frustrations were made worse by having to wait through an international break before travelling to Villa Park next Sunday, October 20.
He's looking for a repeat of what happened after our first defeat of the campaign - at the Emirates, before the last international break in September - when we reeled off four wins in all competitions before drawing against Chelsea.
Indeed, we still boast a fine record of played 12, won nine and lost only two matches in all competitions.
"When you are winning, everything takes care of itself," added Michael.
"But you have to earn the right to win. You can’t just walk out there and do it.
"We will now look to go out and win against Villa. A loss like West Ham is always in the back of your mind but you have to move on. In football, you get the chance to do it."
