A charity football match is taking place tomorrow (Saturday, May 10) to raise funds for former Spurs trainee Del Deanus, who has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease.
A charity football match is taking place tomorrow (Saturday, May 10) to raise funds for former Spurs trainee Del Deanus, who has recently been diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease.Del signed for us as a full-time trainee in July 1990 in the same intake as players such as Nick Barmby, Darren Caskey and Paul Mahorn.
He played a total of 93 games for our youth teams, scoring eight goals, and once for the reserves.
He is currently co-manager of Ryman League Division One North side Edgware Town FC.
The game will see a Non-League All Stars side take on a Professional/Celebrity Dream Team that will include the likes of popular ex-Spur Les Ferdinand, former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair and internationally-renowned DJ and Spurs fan Brandon Block.
An auction is taking place for two people to rub shoulders with and play on the Professionals' side, while an amazing array of unique football, golf and showbiz merchandise will be raffled on the day.
The game will kick-off at 3pm at Edgware's White Lion Ground, High Street, Edgware.
