Dele Alli is determined to keep improving after hitting the target again at West Brom.
The young midfielder opened the scoring with a deft finish to Toby Alderweireld’s searching pass after 15 minutes at The Hawthorns.
However, James McClean levelled before half-time and that’s how it stayed after a hard-fought contest against a Baggies side determined not to give us an inch.
“I’ve great people around me, family, the players and staff here, they’ve all helped me settle in well and I’m sure they’ll look after me and make sure I don’t get carried away,” said Dele.
“I’ve still a lot to learn. I’m only 19 and looking to keep improving.”

Dele provided our best chance of the second half for Harry Kane, scooping up a clever pass that Harry diverted on target but saw cleared off the line.
But chances were few and far between as we found it difficult to break down West Brom’s well-organised defence.
“West Brom made it difficult for us, they weren’t just going to let us walk in and take three points,” added Dele.
“I thought we played well and there were positives to take but at the same time, some negatives that we’ll work on and take that into the next game.
“The fans were fantastic again and it’s a shame we couldn’t come away with three points.
“It’s important now we pick ourselves up, train well and try to get the next three points. We’re in good form at the moment and back ourselves whoever we play.”
