Dean Richards is more familiar than most Premiership defenders with the potential threat posed by West Brom striker Jason Roberts.
The powerful striker forged a reputation as a goalscorer of note during his productive spell at Bristol Rovers, where he scored 38 goals in 75 starts, before a £2m switch to the Hawthorns in July 2000.
He has scored 24 goals in 60 league starts for the Baggies, but Dean remembers the hitman from when he emerged from the slightly humbler surrounds of Hayes to join Wolves as a 19-year-old in 1997.
Our in-form centre-half was a regular feature in the Wolves side at the time and clearly remembers Roberts from his Molineux days.
"I do remember Jason," said Dean at Spurs Lodge. "He had just come from Hayes when I was at Wolves. He found it quite tough then I think, but he has developed and kept going.
"He always had a good attitude, that was one of his strengths, he always kept going and bouncing back.
"I think that has got him to where he is. He had a lot of self-belief and confidence and that could be why he is doing well now."
Roberts is doing well to the tune of starring for the Baggies in the Premiership and has scored three goals so far this term - including one against Arsenal at Highbury, the winner at West Ham and the goal in the drawn midlands clash with Birmingham.
Dean knows that the striker is going to pose a threat at the Lane on Sunday and that he more than capable of providing a bit of bother to his markers.
"He is and he's strong, quick and is going to be a handful."
