Deano in Opta XI
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Dean Richards' outstanding display at Anfield has earned him a place in the Opta Index Team of the Week.
Big Deano and Chris Perry proved a tough defensive nut for Liverpool to crack and we were only beaten by a 30-yard moment of magic from Danny Murphy and Michael Owen's flash of inspiration to first win and then take the winning penalty five minutes from time.
In-between, Deano powered home a header to level Murphy's opener.
Here is Opta's Team of the Week and their findings...
Brad Friedel (Blackburn)
The big American showed why his manager Graeme Souness rates him so highly with a performance that stunned Highbury. Friedel's nine saves kept the relentless Gunners at bay as Blackburn picked up all three points against the Champions.
Lucas Neill (Blackburn)
With eight tackles and 11 clearances to his name, Lucas Neill was a key figure in the Blackburn team that withstood the Arsenal onslaught and took all three points from Highbury.
Henning Berg (Blackburn)
A massive 23 clearances from Henning Berg was a big factor in Rovers’ victory at Highbury. The fact that Blackburn's only shot on target was their winner just illustrates how busy the Blackburn defence was and this man was inspirational.
Dean Richards (Tottenham)
Aside from the 19 clearances for Tottenham that kept Liverpool out for most of the game, big centre-back Dean Richards came forward to score the equalizer with a towering header.
Graeme Le Saux (Chelsea)
With 48 passes, seven crosses and a goal to his name, it is clear that Graeme Le Saux still has a lot of offer the Chelsea side. He was one of their star performers as they beat West Brom to stay in touch with the leaders.
Sylvain Wiltord (Arsenal)
Despite ending up on the losing side, Sylvain Wiltord did everything he possible could to score for the Gunners. His nine shots would normally have seen him score at least once, but it was just one of those days for the Gunners. Full marks for effort though.
Currently on loan from Real Madrid, Geremi has been winning over the fans at Middlesbrough and in the 2-2 draw with Leeds, the Cameroon international showed his creative side by setting up both of the goals.
Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
With a massive 70 passes it becomes apparent how Frank Lampard was pulling the strings in the Chelsea midfield during their win over West Brom. He also went in for seven tackles as his influence helped the Blues to another three points.
Laurent Robert (Newcastle)
As well as his goal, Laurent Robert hit the target with two other shots, put in 12 crosses and constantly tormented the Charlton defence as the Magpies continued their climb up the Premiership table.
Nicolas Anelka (Man City)
Nicolas Anelka hit the target with both of his shots against Birmingham and scored with one of them. The Frenchman's strikes account for 56% of the Premiership goals that Man City have scored this season showing how much the team rely on his ability.
James Beattie (Southampton)
To claim his first Premiership hat-trick, James Beattie fired in seven shots, hitting the target with four of them. His performance inspired the Saints to come from two-goals down to win 4-2 and epitomised the never-say-die spirit that Gordon Strachan has instilled in his players down on the South Coast.
