Dawson targets maximum points against Cottagers

Michael Dawson has targeted 12 points from our remaining four games this season – three of which are up for grabs against Fulham.

We play host to the Cottagers on Saturday lunchtime, a week after our dramatic 3-3 draw at West Brom and less than a fortnight after thrashing Sunderland 5-1 in our last home game.

Club skipper Michael, who is back in training after missing those two matches through a hamstring problem, is optimistic ahead of this weekend’s test against a side that’s fighting to stay in the top flight.

“We had the 5-1 win against Sunderland before the comeback at West Brom, so we look forward to the Fulham match and I’m sure it will be an interesting game,” Daws said.

“Obviously they’re fighting for their lives and we’ve got a good record against Fulham at White Hart Lane – but it means nothing. It’s a fresh game on Saturday and we’re looking forward to it.

“In our last four matches there’s 12 points to play for, so hopefully we can go out with a big positive and take 12 points from them.”
