Dawson on City loss

Michael Dawson said the players were left 'devastated' by Sunday's loss at City.
Jesus Navas opened the scoring inside 15 seconds at the Etihad Stadium and the Spanish winger had the final word in added time to complete a 6-0 win for the home side.
“There are no words to describe how we all feel after losing 6-0,” said skipper Michael. “I can’t explain it. It’s a bad day.
“You don’t say a lot after losing 6-0. Everyone is devastated. The fans travelled in their thousands again and it’s a hard day for everyone.”
It looked like we might recover from Navas’ early strike as Erik Lamela had a chance cleared off the line by Martin Demichelis, Jan Vertonghen tested Costel Pantilimon and Paulinho just failed to connect with Kyle Walker’s long throw in front of goal.
But City responded with two goals before half-time and were out of sight with another two within 10 minutes of the second half.
“We came back into the game until they scored the second goal,” added Michael.
“We maybe could have nicked a goal to go to 1-1 but after that there was only one winner.”
