Michael Dawson described Sunday’s clash against Everton as 'massive'.
The skipper insisted our close proximity in the Premier League – it’s fifth versus sixth at the Lane – meant the match was all the more important.
“It’s a massive game,” said Michael, who has started all 24 of our Premier League matches so far this term.
“Obviously drawing at Hull last week was a disappointment. Even though it was good to come back from 1-0 down, it was a shame we couldn’t go on to win the game.
“Everton are a point ahead, so it’s a game we need to win, against a team fighting for a place in the top four.
“If we can win against Everton, it will put us in a good position but there is plenty of football still to be played."
