Daws on the draw

09 December 2013|Tottenham Hotspur

Michael Dawson described our FA Cup third round tie at Arsenal as 'a special game'.

We travel to the Emirates Stadium for a 5.15pm kick-off on Saturday, January 4, the game televised live on ITV1.

We’ve already faced the Gunners this season and performed well despite a narrow 1-0 loss in September.

Since then, Arsenal have hit form and currently top the Premier League.

We have recovered well since a heavy loss at City with a draw against United and back-to-back away wins at Fulham and Sunderland - taking our record to just four defeats in 24 matches in all competitions this term.

"It’s a special game and a massive draw so early in the competition," said the skipper.

"We lost there earlier in the season and that was obviously a huge disappointment. I thought we played well that day.

"The FA Cup is different and this is certainly the tie of the round.

"We know all about Arsenal and what this game means to everyone. We’ll go there looking for a positive result."
