Daws on Andros

Michael Dawson believes Andros Townsend will relish his first senior England experience.
The flying winger is with Roy Hodgson’s squad for vital World Cup qualifying matches against Moldova at Wembley on Friday and Ukraine in Kiev.
It’s been a whirlwind rise for Andros. He showed fine form on loan at QPR in the second half of last season and has enjoyed an outstanding start to the campaign at Spurs - a goal and two assists against Dinamo Tbilisi, winning the crucial penalty against Swansea and lively again in the return against Dinamo Tbilisi.
That earned the England call last week - and he then impressed again despite Sunday’s derby defeat at Arsenal.
Andros’ club skipper Michael, capped four times by England, is behind the youngster all the way. “I thought Andros played well again against Arsenal and caused them problems,” he said.
“He tucks in, can go inside or out and causes full-backs all sorts of problems.
“Good luck to him when he goes away with England. It will be nice to see him get his first cap. He’s done well since he’s come into the team and I’m sure he’ll go away and enjoy it.”
