Dave Mackay Memorial Service

Tue 07 April 2015, 17:00|Tottenham Hotspur

The Club can confirm that a Memorial Service for the late Dave Mackay will be held in Enfield on Thursday, April 30, at 2.30pm.

The legendary double-winning midfielder passed away on March 2 at the age of 80 and a host of former team-mates, supporters and football dignitaries attended his funeral in Edinburgh on March 24.

The contribution Dave made to Tottenham Hotspur as a player and captain between 1959 and 1968 can never be understated and he is rightly recognised as one of our greatest players of all time.

As a further tribute, and to allow those closer to White Hart Lane to pay their respects, a Memorial Service has been arranged to take place at St Stephen’s Church in Bush Hill Park, Enfield, on the above date.

The Service will commence at 2.30pm and will be conducted by Reverend Paul Atherton.

A book of condolence has been open for supporters to sign at White Hart Lane since Dave’s funeral and this will also be available at the Service.
