Dave Mackay – Book of Remembrance

To allow more supporters to pay tribute to one of the club's all-time legends Dave Mackay, the Book of Remembrance for the late, great midfielder will be placed in the club's Megastore at White Hart Lane next week.

The Book of Remembrance will be available for signing during the Megastore's usual opening hours - Monday-Friday 10am-5.30pm, Saturday 9.30am-5.30pm and Sunday 10.30am-4.30pm.

It will also be available in the Megastore prior to our next home game against Aston Villa on Saturday, April 11.

An integral part of the team that won the double in 1961, retained the FA Cup in 1962 and won the UEFA European Cup Winners Cup in 1963, Dave recovered from two broken legs to captain the team to the FA Cup again in 1967.

Dave played 318 times for us between 1959-68, scoring 51 goals. He sadly passed away on March 2. His funeral took place in Edinburgh on Tuesday.
