Dallas Spurs does the Club proud for Thanksgiving
25 November 2016|Tottenham Hotspur
Our Official Supporters’ Clubs in the USA are once again acting as a force for good in their communities for Thanksgiving, celebrated across the Atlantic this week.
Dallas Spurs members have been donating money at recent live match screenings that has been used to purchase foodstuffs for the local Community Pantry of the North Texas Food Bank.
Board member Shane Keller said: “This year, we are well on our way to eclipsing last year’s donation total, with the last collection taking place at our local pub during the West Ham match. We are now tracking to provide somewhere close to 500 meals this Thanksgiving. That is well beyond our initial expectation.
“We started this food drive because we thought it was a good idea. However, it has had a galvanizing impact on our membership. The participation and support by our members has been amazing. I have never been prouder to be a member of Dallas Spurs.”
Well done, Dallas Spurs!
