Concentration key against Chelsea - Hugo

Hugo Lloris says concentration is key in our New Year's Day cracker against Chelsea.

The Blues top the Premier League, have lost only once at the half-way stage of the season and Sunday's draw at Southampton maintained a three-point lead over Manchester City.

We've lost just once in our last eight in the league - and that was against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge at the start of the month.

That match illustrated Hugo's point on the importance of concentration against Jose Mourinho's men.

We started well at the Bridge, created chances and struck the woodwork before a two-goal burst in as many minutes - the second goal from a rare blip from Hugo, a poor clearance - left us with a mountain to climb.

"This is Chelsea's style," said Hugo. "They want to give you confidence with the ball and then with the smallest mistake they punish you.

"We are aware of that.

"It will be a tough game and we need concentration and desire in front of our crowd to get a great performance.

"We need to keep going. Every game is different and we need a lot of energy for another big game."
