Come on England!

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

The whole country is being given an amazing chance to get behind the England team this summer with the creation of a giant St George's Cross flag, which will travel out to the World Cup finals in Japan/Korea. The initiative, which is being undertaken by The Football Association and Official England Team Sponsor Nationwide Building Society, is aiming to create the world's biggest fans' flag.

Looking to harness the passion of the country's 20 million-plus football fans, the giant flag, which will measure 20 by 10 metres, can accommodate up to one million signatures of support from England well wishers. All fans have to do to back the team is simply go online to to register their details and leave a good luck message.

Glenn and Teddy have already signed their message (in Teddy's case hopefully to himself!) and celebrities from Robbie Williams to Bobby Robson, the worlds of sport and entertainment will be unanimous in their passionate support of the England team this summer.

A smaller version of the flag will be visiting the UK's top sporting and entertainment events to elicit further celebrity support. All proceeds from the sale of the flag after the campaign will go to the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

It is a huge task taking one million virtual signatures and printing them onto the flag in time for the tournament, so fans only have one month to visit the site from March 27th until April 27th, although the site itself is geared towards taking messages of support right up until World Cup kick-off.

As if you needed any extra incentive to get behind the team, fans also have the chance to win the prize of a lifetime and take the giant flag out to Japan to present to the team.

Sven Goran Eriksson said: "This campaign is a magnificent way of symbolising the entire country's support for the national team. We will travel to the World Cup with wonderful support behind us, it will mean a lot to me and all the players."
