Vlad Chiriches and Christian Eriksen both completed 90 minutes as Romania and Denmark began qualifying for Euro 2016 with wins on Sunday.
Centre-back Vlad helped Romania gain revenge for their World Cup play-off defeat at the hands of Greece last year with a 1-0 win in Group F.
Ciprian Marica scored the only goal from the penalty spot on 10 minutes and was later sent off but the 10 men held on for the final 35 minutes for the victory.
Christian's Denmark team trailed Armenia 1-0 in Group I before recovering for a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Pierre Hojbjerg (65 minutes) and Thomas Kahlenberg 10 minutes from time.
Away from Euro 2016 qualfying, Hugo Lloris played 90 minutes as France drew 1-1 against Serbia in a friendly in Belgrade.
The international action continues on Monday night and all eyes will be on Basel, Switzerland, where Andros Townsend and Danny Rose are in the England squad to face the Swiss in their opening match in qualifying Group E.
