Christian takes centre stage

Christian Eriksen is relishing the responsibility of making the team tick from central midfield.
The Danish playmaker has started as one of the central two in a 4-4-2 system with Tim Sherwood looking for him to pull the strings offensively for the team.
He responded with a fantastic free-kick to open the scoring in our Boxing Day clash against West Brom – his first Premier League goal - only for the Baggies to equalise within two minutes as it stayed 1-1 at the Lane despite our second half dominance.
“It’s my favourite position, I like playing there, getting the ball, trying to dictate the game,” said Christian.
“That’s what the coach wants me to do and I’m trying hard. I’m a player who is better with the ball than without the ball, so I enjoy it in there.
“It’s just a shame we couldn’t beat West Brom, but we have to keep going – and hopefully I’ll score a few more goals as well.”
