Christian glad to be back

Christian Eriksen is delighted to be back from injury and has come up with a simple solution for combating Luis Suarez this weekend: “Keep him from scoring!”
Our Danish midfielder returned to action after a month on the sidelines with an ankle injury during Thursday night’s 4-1 win over Anji Makhachkala in the Europa League.
And while he’s pleased to have made his comeback during such a convincing victory, the former Ajax star knows we face a stern test against high-flying Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
“I’m really pleased to be back and to have played at the Lane on Thursday – it’s really nice,” Christian said.
“We are really happy that we kept on going in the Europa League and it looks great now that we have 18 points in the group.
“Liverpool is one of the most important games for us. If we want to continue pushing the top and being closer to the top we have to win, so we need to get a result.”
The Reds arrive at the Lane on Sunday with the deadly Suarez spearheading their attack and Christian admitted we’ll have to pay close attention to the Uruguayan all afternoon.
And what’s the Dane’s solution for keeping Suarez at bay?
“Keep him from scoring! No, seriously though, he’s done really well and of course that’s one thing we’re going to look at.
“Previously we’ve been working towards Anji but as of today, Saturday and Sunday we’ll think about Liverpool.”
