Chelsea vs Spurs - Tim's preview

Sat 08 March 2014, 10:46|Tottenham Hotspur

Tim Sherwood insists the players will step out at Stamford Bridge with 'no fear' on Saturday.

We take on leaders Chelsea in what is always an eagerly-awaited Premier League encounter, this time kicking-off at 5.30pm.

The Blues have hit the summit on the back of a 13-match unbeaten run, while we’ve won eight of our last 12 in the Premier League.

“It’s always a tough game but we can’t worry about what has happened at the Bridge in the past, we have to be positive,” said Tim, eluding to our record at Chelsea.

“We respect they have technically-gifted players and world-class players in certain areas and we have to stop them playing, then hopefully we can impose ourselves on them.

“Chelsea get the job done, they find a way to win and that has taken them to the top of the league at the moment. Jose Mourinho knows how to win. They have a lot of experience and they know how to get over the line.

“It was a blow to lose (our last away match) at Norwich because we want to win every game but to bounce back like we did against Dnipro and Cardiff, a potential banana skin, was fantastic.

“We’ll now go there with no fear, we’ll play with freedom and see what happens.”
