Martin Jol made five changes from Thursday night's UEFA Cup win at Braga - Radek Cerny was in goal for injured Paul Robinson while Jermain Defoe partnered Dimitar Berbatov up front with Robbie Keane also sidelined. Paul Stalteri replaced Pascal Chimbonda, Ricardo Rocha came in for Anthony Gardner and Hossam Ghaly for Steed Malbranque - both Gardner and Malbranque on the bench alongside Rob Burch, keeper cover for Cerny.
