Nacer Chadli is happy to see our goals tally rising as a result of recent performances.
Paulinho, Harry Kane and Younes Kaboul hit the target in our 3-1 victory against Fulham on Saturday – making it 11 goals scored in our last three Premier League outings.
Reflecting on the victory against the Cottagers, Belgian international Nacer said our impressive firepower is a welcome by-product of the chances we’ve been carving out.
“We create enough chances to score goals and we’ve been putting some of them away,” said Nacer, who again started in central midfield against Fulham before making way for fellow countryman Mousa Dembele in the second half.
“In the first half our tempo was too low and we spent too long on the ball. We knew we had to play faster and as we all saw the second half was better, we scored quickly and we created good chances.
“Everybody is happy after the result. We played very well and it’s a good win for us.”
