Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Chris Hughton believes confidence is the biggest single factor driving our upturn in fortunes since the turn of the year.
Having dropped into the bottom three before Christmas, three wins out of three in 2004 have seen us progress in the FA Cup and move up to 13th in the Premiership.
"It's certainly about confidence and you always hope, when you win a game, that can lead onto another win," said coach Chris.
"We said for a long time that we needed to get some sort of run together and that itself breeds confidence.
"You also have to look at form and Simon Davies is back in the frame after being out for a long time, he's been a good addition and the form for Stephane Dalmat has been a wonderful plus for us. Gary Doherty has also done very well."
Chris Hughton has praised the contribution of John Jackson and Stephen Kelly - seeing their arrival as healthy competition for the squad.
Michael Brown also falls into that category starting from Saturday's Premiership clash against Liverpool and the return to fitness of Simon Davies and form of Gary Doherty deputising for Dean Richards all add to that competition.
Coach Chris said: "Testament to both of the young lads who have come in and applied themselves very, very well.
"John Jackson has played a couple of games and although the last game wasn't in his favoured position he did a good job for us.
"We've also got Michael Brown available so we're at a time where we've had bodies come back in, players have applied themselves well and we've got a bit of competition and that's always very healthy."
He's an all-rounder. He's a competititor, will stick his foot in and cover ground. We also saw last season at heffield United that he can score goals, certainly from midfield he score a lot of goals klast season. He'll bring enthusisasm to want to play and be involved and brings us extra competition in midfield. The best way to describe him is an all-rounder. I've seen him more often cetrally but he can playy in wider areas. He's box to bx, will compete and has a wonderful enthusiasm for the game.
Chris Hughton says we can't afford a drop in recent standards if we want any reward from Saturday's home clash against Liverpool.
We've won all three games so far in 2004 and last weekend's 1-0 success at Leeds moved us into 13th in the Premiership having dropped into the bottom three over Christmas.
However, Liverpool have gone five games unbeaten since losing at home to Southampton on December 13 and are now just two points behind Charlton in fifth place.
"It's the type of game where we know we'll have to play on par with our recent home performances to get something out of it," reasoned Chris.
"The most important thing against what you would regard as the better teams, Liverpool are certainly right up there, is that you don't want to lose the game.
"A home game should also be an avenue to get some type of result. That's important. But the way we are and the way we've been playing at home, certainly the last few games, we'll go into it confident not only of getting a result but getting a win."
