Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week
10 March 2017|Tottenham Hotspur
The Club opened its doors to hundreds of local jobseekers and potential employers at an Apprenticeships Fair held during National Apprenticeship Week.
White Hart Lane played host to a variety of employers from a wide range of companies offering live apprenticeship opportunities, including the Bank of England, BT and Hilton Hotels, as well as a number of contractors currently involved with the construction of our new stadium development.
The project continues to drive the regeneration of Tottenham, as well as all job opportunities in the local area through a partnership between the Club, Haringey Council and the Department for Work and Pensions.
To date, more than 200 apprenticeships have been created as a direct result of the new stadium development, and next month the Government will bring into effect a new Apprenticeship Levy aimed at delivering a target of three million apprentices nationally by 2020.
