Celebrate 4 Mum! Fans show support for Mums Matter
Earlier this week we announced our support for SOS Children’s ‘Mums Matter’ campaign – and the response has been incredible.
Our players have been telling us how they would celebrate a goal for their Mum – but the fans have gone a step further by actually showing us! See video above…
So we’ve decided to get a competition going amongst all of you to see who can send us the best video of a goal celebration you would do for your Mum.
Can you better the Gareth Bale ‘heart’ or his QPR dance, or top the celebration Kyle Walker did for his Mum against Arsenal earlier this season? Indeed, can you do a better job than any of the fans in the video have done?
If you can, a to-be-revealed once-in-a-lifetime prize is at stake for the winner, so see details of how you can enter below.
Remember, it’s all in aid of Mums Matter, aimed at raising awareness of the role that over 5,000 SOS mothers play in improving the lives of thousands of orphaned and abandoned children around the world. So show your support for SOS Children, our international charity partner, today.
Ask yourself this question: ‘what goal celebration would you do for your Mum if she was in the crowd?’
Have a think, come up with a celebration as unique as possible that you know is going to impress us, and get a friend or family member to film it.
Send your 30 second clip to us using either of the following:
- Tweet us @SpursOfficial with a link to your video using the hashtag #celebrate4mum
- Post your video or a link to your video on our Facebook page - facebook.com/TottenhamHotspur
We will select the best 5 videos we receive and play them on our big screens at White Hart Lane at half-time during our home match with Blackburn on Sunday 29th April.
The winning video will be judged by the loudest cheer from the crowd that day, so make it as eye-catching as possible! The winner will be contacted and the special prize will be organised. We will accept entries from anywhere in the world!
The competition will close on Friday 20th April. That gives you just over three weeks to get your videos in! We look forward to seeing what you have to offer…
