Carry on Gazza
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Glenn says that Paul Gascoigne can continue to grace the Premiership for some time to come if he can avoid injury.
Gazza is, once again, catching the eye in the English top flight and is currently pulling the strings in Everton's midfield.
"It's good to see him back and playing, I think he's got a lot to offer the Premiership, I really do," said Glenn. "If he stays injury-free I'm sure he's got a lot to achieve still in football."
Gazza has endured a torrid time with injuries since Glenn worked with him at international level and the boss says leaving him out of the World Cup squad for France 98 was the toughest of management decisions.
"I've gone on record as saying it was the saddest decision I've ever had to make in football, leaving him out. It was a tough one, but it was one I felt had to be done to be fair to everybody that was in the squad.
"It was the saddest decision. I've spoken to him on numerous occasions, we've got no problem with each other.
"What he's done is showed himself and everybody else what a deep character he's got.
"Since that time he's still had a lot of injuries, but he's maintained and come through them. Fingers crossed, if he can stay injury-free now, he can have another two or three years on his career.
"If you got someone of that talent who can pass the ball, with that vision and quickness of mind, you don't need your legs as much. Teddy is another example. You need to be fit obviously, and it's good to see him come through that and get back into some form over a period of time.
"The game has got quicker, but over the last few years the ball has been on the deck more - so that would suit Gazza.
"It doesn't matter that the game is quicker, his mind is as quick as anyone's on a football pitch, the same as Teddy. It will suit him more because the game is more technical with the foreign players that have come in, the way teams are playing - the long ball game has gone from our football.
"It is good that these players can actually extend their careers if they keep themselves fit - and Gazza is a technical player."
