Carr seeks new improved model

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Stephen Carr believes that working with Glenn on a daily basis next season can only improve him as a player — and an improved Stephen is some prospect!

Following Glenn’s picking up of the reigns in April, Stephen witnessed the demands for quality that the boss insists on from his players, but accepts that the short period between Glenn taking over and the end of the season was not enough time to fully implement his formula for success on the players.

The Manchester United game was a taster, but there are still several senior members of the squad who, due to injury, have yet to receive Glenn’s wisdom.

Stephen is looking forward to embarking on a full season under the new regime and improve himself in the process.

"Glenn hopefully can bring me on that step further and improve my all-round game a little more. He has a great technique as a player, both feet and you can see that quality in him and he demands that from his players - that they are good on the ball, get involved and are confident.

"As regards that side of my game he can bring a lot to me, going forward and passing."

Our flying full-back feels that the old pass master will be chomping at the bit waiting for the players to return after the summer break, ready to pt his stamp of quality on proceedings from day one.

"There is still a long way to go though. He’s only had us for the end of the season, plus the injuries and I bet he can’t wait to get right in and put his ideas across from the start of next season. He demands very high quality day in, day out in training and I’m all for it."
