Carr, Doc back in Ireland squad

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Stephen Carr and Gary Doherty are back in the Ireland squad.

Mick McCarthy has named the fit-again Spurs pair in his 25-man party for the friendly against Finland in Helsinki on August 21.

Both suffered World Cup heartbreak this summer.

Full-back Stephen admitted defeat to his knee injury in April but after a year out, he looks as if he's getting back to his best again.

Versatile Gary, used as both a striker and defender by McCarthy, just missed out on Japan after eighth months out with a broken leg. He was back at the end of last season but missed the final cut.
