Mauricio Pochettino summed up in three words how the squad feel ahead of this afternoon's showpiece at Wembley: "We are ready."
We take on Chelsea in the Capital One Cup Final, kicking-off at 4pm.
A cup-winner and multi-finalist in his playing career, today represents Mauricio's first final as a Head Coach.
"It’s very special, a final at Wembley," he said. "It’s an important day, an important game for supporters, for players and for the club.
"The motivation is full - no need to motivate the players - and it’s a final we need to enjoy.
"We know we play against Chelsea, one of the best teams in the world, but we believe in our possibilities and we need to go into this final with the possibility that we can win.
"For me, it’s special, for my staff it’s special. We need to enjoy the game. The final is not about being better than the opponents - it’s about getting the victory. The important thing is to get the trophy."
Many pundits are pointing to our 5-3 victory against Chelsea in the Premier League on New Year's Day but Mauricio feels it will have little bearing on the final.
"Every game is different," he added. "That game was important for our belief and at this moment we know we can win if we play all together.
"Our power is in our team. This is important for us and something we need to remember.
"We are ready. We are fully motivated and we need to believe in ourselves."
