Capital One Cup Final - Important Fan Information

Sat 28 February 2015, 08:15|Tottenham Hotspur

Ahead of our trip to Wembley Stadium here is some important information for those fans travelling to Sunday's Capital One Cup Final.

The match kicks off at 4pm so please arrive as early as possible to avoid any possible delays in gaining entry to the stadium.

Details on travelling to Wembley Stadium can be found by clicking here.

We have been informed that Olympic Way will be segregated from Wembley Park station to the elevated pedestrian ramps up to the podium of the stadium.  All our supporters should stay to the left in order to gain access to the Spurs supporters enclosure in the East side of the stadium.

All supporters will be searched thoroughly at the turnstiles prior to gaining entry so please allow enough time to get to your seat.

Stewards will be adopting a zero tolerance approach to any fan found to be in possession of pyrotechnics, while pyrotechnic dogs will also be visible in various areas.

Flags and banners are welcome and will be checked prior to entry to ensure content is appropriate and that they do not obscure anyone's view.

Please note, local pubs will halt alcohol sales approximately one hour before kick off, while off licence sales are limited to four cans and cannot be consumed in the Wembley Stadium designated alcohol restriction zone.

Police and stewards will be diligently monitoring fan behaviour both outside and inside the stadium and anyone found to be engaging in any anti-social or discriminatory behaviour will be ejected from the stadium, face arrest and a lifetime ban from Wembley.

If any of our supporters hear discriminatory chants on the way to the game, during or after the match, you can report it to a steward, or text anonymously to 87474, call 0800 085 0508 or email reportdiscrimination@thefa.com

You can also contact Kick It Out on 0800 169 9414 or via their smartphone app.

There will be stewards working inside the stadium bowl wearing body cams, as well as police spotters and detectives who will be present ready to investigate any claims.

We are rightly proud of the fantastic atmosphere that our supporters generate both home and away and we hope everyone continues to focus their energies on getting behind the team on Sunday.

Thank you once again for your fantastic backing of the team this season and we wish you all a safe and enjoyable trip to Wembley.
