Tue 04 February 2014, 10:00|Tottenham Hotspur
Do you know the signs and symptoms of cancer?
Do you have any health questions?
Are you in a healthy BMI range?
We are pleased to announce the opening of the ‘Get to know cancer’ drop-in clinic at Tottenham Community Sports Centre, Haringey, close by White Hart Lane, from today.
The clinic will provide an easily accessible (no appointment necessary) option for those worried about their health, in particular cancer. The drop-in will be staffed by cancer nurse specialists who will provide information and signpost to local services.
Supported by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, the clinic is part of the Club’s wider support of NHS England (London) campaign ‘Get to know cancer’, which is committed to increasing the early diagnosis of cancer and helping save around a 1,000 lives in London per year.
The clinic will be open Tuesdays 4pm-7pm, Thursdays 10pm-4pm and Saturdays 10-2pm for six weeks.
