Bruce: Defeat would have been injustice
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Steve Bruce saluted defender Jeff Kenna after he scored his first Premiership goal for seven years to earn Birmingham a point at St Andrews.
The last time that Kenna was on target in the top flight was in April 1995 during Blackburn's title-winning season.
His goal against Spurs helped to take City to the 20-point mark and halfway to what is normally the benchmark for avoiding relegation.
Boss Bruce said: "It's his first goal for seven years and it was no less than we deserved. It would have been an injustice if we had not got something out of the game.
"We created the better chances and Tottenham's only shot at goal produced a goal.
"Jeff came on a free transfer from Blackburn and he has been a great signing for us.
"He hasn't been able to train because of this Achilles injury and he really needs a month's rest so it can heal.
"But he has been so professional he's even moved over to left-back to help us out because we tried six or seven people there and he's helped to make us defensively sound."
