Brown ready for Gunners fire
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Michael Brown is determined to grab three points as soon as possible - the perfect scenario to do it against Arsenal on Sunday.
We need a result as we bid to stay above the relegation zone while the Gunners could clinch the title at the Lane pending on Chelsea's result at Newcastle earlier in the day.
Midfielder Michael is preparing for his first North London clash having played in both the Manchester and Sheffield derbies.
Despite being new to the club and the area, he knows what's coming. "This is a special game and nobody can argue with that.
"You might say it is short-term thinking but there is not much left of the season and we have to try to get something out of it.
"If we can become the first team to beat Arsenal and get the three points that we need to make ourselves safe it would not be a bad get-out, would it.
"We obviously know we will have to be at our very best to do it but if we can stop them playing we have a chance - and we also have the ability to score a goal.
"We need the crowd behind us right from the start and hopefully we'll get that. Football is about confidence, not so much raising your game. With the right encouragement we can show what we are capable of doing and that should lift people for next season as well."
Michael helped Sheffield United give Arsenal a huge fright in last season's FA Cup semi-final when they were beaten 1-0.
He said: "They have blitzed everybody this year, but they certainly struggled with us in the semi final. They were going through a difficult patch but it just shows you that even the best can slip below their standards.
"I'm told they have won only one in the last six visits here and the feeling I am getting is that we can give them problems.
"They won't ease up even when they've won the title but in a way we've got to put other things aside and just concentrate on getting the three points."
