Advice for fans travelling to Braga, Portugal for Thursday night's UEFA Cup Round of 16 first leg.
This Thursday we play the first leg of our UEFA Cup Round of 16 match against SC Braga. Supporters are reminded that they MUST NOT travel without having secured a match ticket (albeit, you mat be collecting your ticket at the stadium - CLICK HERE for latest Braga ticket news). Tickets will NOT be available on the night to Spurs fans. DO NOT purchase touted or counterfeit tickets. You WILL be refused admission and any Spurs supporters found in the home areas of the ground will be EJECTED. Please note there will also be a large local Police operation for this game.
Supporters with a ticket who are travelling to Braga should note that the closest train station to the Stadium is called Estação da CP em in Braga station and is approximately three kilometres away. To reach this station from the airport, catch the metro service to Porto, Campanhã station and then take the train from there to Estação da CP em in Braga station.
We are advised that there are no restaurants and bars in Braga town centre and it is a long walk from there to the stadium, so fans are advised to travel direct from Porto to the stadium.
There will be a special rail service back to Porto after the match on Thursday night, departing at approximately 1am on Friday morning, March 9.

The Stadium will be open at 7.30pm and it is essential that fans arrive as close to this time as possible as not only will there be several ticket checks before supporters reach the turnstiles but all fans will be subjected to a search. No alcohol or anything that could potentially be used as a weapon will be allowed into the Stadium but flags and banners are acceptable provided they do not carry any wording that could be considered as racist or offensive. For the added safety of our fans, there will be several Tottenham Hotspur stewards and officials at the game.

Anyone reporting a lost or stolen passport should be instructed to report it to the Police (to obtain a police report) and then call into the Consulate with a Police report (even when passport is just lost and no crime involved), three photographs, means of identity (driving licence), Airline ticket and a Passport fee €68. Please note, an Emergency Passport is valid for entry (once) into the UK only.
- Advise how to transfer funds
- Help you get in touch with local lawyers, interpreters and doctors
- Contact next of kin in an emergency
- Contact and visit British nationals in hospital
- Contact and visit brutish nationals in prison
They WILL NOT be able to help with the following:
- Intervene ın court proceedıngs
- Get you out of prıson
- Gıve legal advıce
- Pay your hotel, legal or medıcal bılls
- Replace lost tickets
