Boro-bound boys target last four
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Pat Holland expects a close encounter of the footballing kind as our Academy aim for a place in the FA Youth Cup semi-finals tonight.
Our Under-18 squad travel to Middlesbrough for a place in the last four of youth football's most prestigious competition.
The lads toppled Crystal Palace in the last eight and coach Pat believes this tie will be chalk and cheese to what turned into a physical battle at Selhurst Park.
Pat explained: "I'm looking forward to it and I believe it will be a good footballing game.
"Looking back at the Palace game the general performance was possibly better than what we gave the lads credit for because they were a strong side.
"Having looked at Luton and Middlesbrough and the way they play, they haven't got the physical presence of Palace.
"It's a young side, three schoolboys playing and in a lot of ways it's an opportunity for our lads to go out and express themselves.
"If we can do it right we'll have a fair chance.
"It's a great challenge for the lads and to get into the semi-finals for two years running would be a terrific achievement."
Goalkeeper Paul Rutherford will have a late test but otherwise Pat reports no injury worries before the trip to Teeside.
Kick-off is 7pm.
