Fredi Bobic notched a magnificent first half hat-trick in Bolton's 4-1 thumping defeat of Ipswich in their relegation six-pointer at the Reebok a fortnight ago and the German star will be hoping to fire his team to victory again this weekend.

A win for the home side would almost certainly guarantee them Premiership football next season and Bobic, who netted with all his attempts on target against the Suffolk side, is surely the man in form to help them preserve their top-flight status

The forward, currently on loan from Borussia Dortmund, has netted in his last two home games after going the first two months of his career in the Premiership without a goal.

But Bobic did always claim that he would take time to settle in England and get used to the style of play, but with a 27% goals-to-shots ratio he appears to be on top of his game now.

Meanwhile at the other end of the field will be Tottenham striker Sergei Rebrov. The former Dynamo Kiev front-man has failed to make a big impression since Glenn Hoddle took charge of the team a year ago and will hope his luck will turn before the end of the season.

He has managed just one goal in the league all season although the majority of his appearances have been from the substitutes bench. But when he did get an opportunity to start in the game against West Ham last weekend he was not highly effective against the Hammers defence.

Therefore if selected from the start again he would dearly love to prove his worth with a match-winning performance and improve upon his low goal tally. Although his shooting accuracy of 48% is marginally better than Bobic's has been this season.

If Bobic can repeat his form of a fortnight ago then Spurs, who have won just one away game since November, could be facing another disappointing trip home come ten to five on Saturday evening.
