Bolton aim to relax
Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce says his side will be able to relax when they return to the Lane on Tuesday - clear from the pressures of Premiership point collecting.
Wanderers head back down south for the Worthington Cup quarter-final clash having lost in a tight encounter by a single goal at Derby on Saturday, after which Allardyce admits a few tea cups were thrown around.
"I felt throughout the match that the game was there for the taking," said Allardyce after the defeat at Pride Park.
"I told the players that if they went about things the way they had done at Tottenham they would create chances, but the final ball was not good enough.
"The players are very down and there have been a few teacups and bottles thrown around.
"I felt we were too apprehensive in the first half."
It is that apprehension that Allardyce feels will be missing from his side at the Lane because Premiership points are not at stake. Even though a place in the quarter-finals of the Worthington Cup is, the competition is not Bolton's priority and Allardyce has rested players for cup ties this season.
"I think we can relax and enjoy coming back down here in the quarter-finals of the Worthington Cup," Allardyce told us.
"It's very important for us, but not as important and hasn't got the same pressure and tensions of a Premiership game.
"I think we can be a bit more relaxed and hopefully play as well as we did there last week."
